Lately, I've been trying to spend more time outdoors during the day to ease up my time in front of the computer. The trails, hills, and peaks surrounding our home in San Luis Obispo are so lush and inviting right now. What is it like where you are?

  1. It's like you read my mind. I'm sitting at my computer right now, staring out the window. The sun just came out after a cloudy afternoon - I'm going to head outside ASAP! :)

  2. It's been rainy up here in Oakland, but I haven't let that stop me. The dog and I go running in the rain, very refreshing. I want to come visit you in San Luis Obispo this summer! I wish I could live somewhere more remote.

  3. Wow that first shot is gorgeous! Around our neck of the woods it's been pretty mild, with the occasional salty ocean breeze :)

  4. I totally agree! Sometimes I feel like I spend too much time cooped up indoors on my laptop. It's so addicting though! It's been really sunny here lately, so I've enjoyed going for walks around the neighbourhood and spending time with friends & family outside and going places. x

  9. your shots capture the mountains & lighting perfectly. it reminds of of where i'm from, in ventura county. where i'm at now is in utah for school. theres a lot of mountains, and it's starting to get warmer so they're finally turning green & the snow is melting

  10. I live 4 blocks from Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that I live so close to such a magical place. One of my favorite places to hike around and explore, EVER.

  11. Sadly we have had nothing but rain here in Portland lately. You know what they say though, April Showers bring May flowers and since I'm getting married at the end of May, I'm willing to deal with the rain now!

  16. I feel the same way! I've been walking the long way home. Temps in Boston are still in the 50's - love 60's but when the sun is out, it feels so nice! Great photos!

  18. Today in London it's been going between stupidly bright sunshine to grey skies and pouring with rain. In fact I just saw some lightning outside and heard some thunder. The joys of the crazy British weather! Aside from the weather it looks amazingly gorgeous where you live, I am insanely jealous! I would kill to visit California... hopefully one day. Oh and it goes without saying I am in love with your photos, as always, they are stunning.

  24. Hey! Long time...thought I'd pop by and see what you've been up to the past decade ;) Living in New Delhi now for 2 months, after visiting London for 2 weeks. It was so hot the first week here 38 Celsius most days. So stoked that a storm brought some cooler weather :) Your stuff's always amazing btw!
